8:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. Manifesting the Issues: Breakout Sessions
Discuss in breakout sessions the models and paradigms that are illustrative of key arts education issues. Hear from practitioners on their successes and challenges followed by interactive dialogue leading toward the design of action strategies. For more detailed information on the sessions’ content, refer to the issue brief available on the preconference website in early May. All breakouts are offered once during Session A and repeated during Session B with the exception of Professional Development: Improving the Art of Professional Development, which is one three-hour session from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

We’ve been talking and thinking since yesterday afternoon about key arts education issues. In this session, the Action Strategies Committee will share common themes and lay the groundwork for the regional breakouts that follow.
